Stephanie Wells – So let me start out by saying that back in college and some years after that I was very involved in martial arts for many years. I’m talking five days a week four hours a day for years and no matter what I did I was never flexible enough to even do the splits or get my belt to touch the ground when I was stretching, I mean, I seriously was the most inflexible human in the world, and I still am. Even incorporating plyometrics into my training…I’d strain stuff all the time. I even had a physical therapist have to call in another therapist to help her stretch me on some of my therapy at times because she said that in 25 years of practice, I was one of the strongest patient she had, but absolutely one of the two most inflexible she ever had lol. At that age, I thought “oh cool…strong!”… but if I had really thought about it, being flexible would’ve been so much more better an option if I had a choice.Stretching in this way has even alleviated some muscle cramps as well as other pains. This board is really magnificent for getting a really good stretch for your lower leg. It is sturdy and well made and really has you feeling a good stretch. This can work well for athletes as well as elders, (who have someone next to them to steady them if need be).I definitely recommend this item. As you get older, it’s so important to maintain flexibility. This will definitely help with that.
